Day 30 of the 30 Day Writing Challenge

Finally done. I mean, it was kind of fun, but glad to be done.

The last prompt says, "Write about your highs and lows for the month."

Well, since it was over a year and not a true month (and no, I'm not going to start over...) let's think back.

Highs- I got a dog just before Thanksgiving and he's great. Likes to run off adventuring, but I love him.

Lows- my mom's dementia is getting worse and I worry. I've gained more weight but for the past week or 2, I've lost a few pounds so that's a plus. I just need to keep trucking along and get healthier.

Day 29 of the 30 day writing challenge

What are your goals for the next 30 days?

Some days I don't even know what I'm going to do in the 30 minutes, let alone what my goals are for 30 days and beyond.

But... let's see. Let's set a goal or two.

One goal I'd like to have is to start reading or find a book or two to actually read from cover to cover. I have 2 in mind that I'm going to snag from my dad this weekend- we buy each other books (usually biography/autobiographies) and then trade.

Another goal is to keep walking every day. I think that will help me feel better and lose weight.

My third goal for the next month or so is to make plans for a short vacation. Mentally, I could use more than a holiday weekend off and that I go somewhere other than my parent's in Vermont. I do love them, but I want to go somewhere else for a few days. We'll see how that goes.

I think that's enough goals for now- 3 things are easy to remember than a list of 20.
